June 15th North–South Joint Declaration

The June 15th North–South Joint Declaration was adopted between leaders of North and South Korea in June 2000 after various diplomatic meetings between the North and South. As a result of the talks, numerous separated families and relatives from the North and the South had meetings with their family members in Pyongyang and Seoul.[citation needed]

6・15南北共同宣言は2000年6月13~15日、平壌(ピョンヤン)で金大中(キム・デジュン)大統領と金正日(キム・ジョンイル)総書記の間に行われた分断55年ぶりの初の南北首脳会談で出た宣言文だ。 南北の首脳らは6月14日午後3時間以上進行した会談で合意を成し、夜11時20分頃、署名し、翌日の6月15日宣言文を公式発表した。

6•15 남북공동선언은 2000년 6월 13~15일 평양에서 김대중 대통령과 김정일 국방위원장 간에 이뤄진 분단 55년 만의 첫 남북정상회담에서 나온 선언문이다. 남북의 정상들은 6월 14일 오후 3시간 넘게 진행한 회담에서 합의를 이뤄 밤 11시 20분경 서명했으며, 다음 날인 6월 15일 선언문을 공식 발표했다.
